Step 2: extract the graphics

Get tim2view and open the big file (PE.IMG). You will find a lot of files, but we only need some of them.

File # 3 and # 27: characters set (both files are identical)

File # 4: some battle texts

File # 28: Press Start Button

File # 30: New Game

File # 31: Continue

File # 32: Tutorial

File # 33: EX Game

File # 38: map locations

These are basically the files that we need to translate. We need to keep the .tim format and of course we cannot modify the bits per pixel (bpp). We will see that in the next episode.
